20. (Unclassified - GLC) Stopped by to see Ron Tatnmen, in the
office of Senator William Proxmire, and delivered to him Dr. Proctor's
letter to Proxmire on the subject of a briefing on the economic situation in
North Vietnam, the PRC and North Korea. We talked about scheduling the
briefings of the Joint Economic Committee ok oviet ens expendituUs
(I said this was what Proctor wanted to see Proxmire about) and of Proxmire's
Appropriations Subcommittee on the Soyuz program.. Tammen will call me
