5. (Unclassified - RJK) ADMINISTRATIVE DELIVERY Visited the
office c,f TQoh-nology Assessment,and left an Agency publication entitled,
"Demand for OPEC Oil and OPEC Current Accounts, 1976-1980" for Herman.
Pollack. This document was requested by Mr. Pollack at a briefing presented
by OER and OSI last week.
6. (Internal Use Only - RJK) ADMINISTRATIVE DELIVERY Picked
up from Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Operations, a letter from
Senator Barry Goldwater (R., Ariz.) to the Director. Charles Lombard, of
the Committee staff, had requested that we pick up this letter.
7. (Internal Use Only - RJK) ADMINISTRATIVE DELIVERY Met
with Richard Kimmel, on the staff of the Joint Committee on Atomic Energy,
and received from him a box of classified Agency documents which the
Committee no longer needs and requests that the Agency dispose of them.
8. (Internal Use Only - RJK) ADMINISTRATIVE DELIVERY Delivered
to Charles Snodgrass, House Appropriations Committee staff, a listing of all
of our intelligence subcommittees and-.other committees and subcommittees
along with the members names, having an interest in intelligence.
9. (Unclassified - RJK) ADMINISTRATIVE DELIVERY
Delivered a package of information relatingl to. the Harrington Committee,
to Frank Slatinshek, House, Armed Services Committee staff, per
arrangements made by Mr. Cary.
10. (Internal Use Only - RJK) ADMINISTRATIVE DELIVERY Delivered
a package of photographic materials for Mr. Hepworth, Congressional Support
Officer, to Joseph Foote, on the staff of House Speaker Carl Albert (D. , Okla. ).
11. (Unclassified ._ RJK) LIAISON As a follow up to previous arrange-
ments, advised Mary Valente, House Judiciary Committee staff, and Mary
Dooley, Internal Security Subcommittee, Senate Judiciary Committee, we would
be sending to their respective offices, a fairly large number of hearings held
in the past dating as far back as 1948. Both Ms. Valente and Ms. Dooley
appreciated our thinking of them before disposing of these documents, some
of which are now out of print and very hard to get. I HIC, will box
up the materials and send them to the Committees in the next day or no.
