1. (Internal Use Only - LLM) Jim Olivej- OMB- called and
wanted to know in connection with the Director's testimony tomorrow before
the Senate Appropriations Committee what we have done with regard
to OMB Circular A-19 for clearances. Oliver said that even if the
statement by Mr. Colby does not mention legislation, they would still
like to have a copy. I told Oliver I would see what I could do in terms
of sending him excerpts of the statement pertaining to legislation.
Excerpts from the statement were sent to Oliver.
Later, Oliver called back and gave me some suggested language
for insertion into the statement.
