39. Dropped by the office of Doug Lea,
Counsel, Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Constitutional Rights to discuss
,'< the Tunney-Edwards criminal justice information bill. I outlined
the Agency's problems in this field for him, and he admitted that foreign
intelligence matters were not considered at all in drafting the legislation.
He said he would be receptive to any suggestions we might have to modify
the bill to accommodate foreign intelligence interests.
