SUBJECT: Polygraph
Polygraphirg of American citizens will be restricted to those
who are CIA employees Requests for the
polygraphing of other U.S. citizens will be subject to the approval
of the Director and conducted only by transfer of the CIA personnel
and equipment to another agency under a clear written request for
the use of the service under the other agency's authority and on
a voluntary basis by the subjects concerned. No polygraphs will
be provided to local police or other officials.
