Based upon the data in paragraphs 2, 3, and 4, the estimated Agency Archives and Records Center film accessions are projected as 11,087 cubic feet by the year 1980. These estimates result from community established collection programs which in turn show an intensity of activity peaking in 1973-1974. A decrease in programming is projected for 1975 resulting in a lower but constant level of film pro- duction. It is also pointed out, the film to be retired to the Agency Archives and Records Center within the above time frames consists of original negatives opera- tional in content with extraneous and non-intelligence material having been removed. These estimates also include a 3-year retention period in NPIC before retirement to the Agency Archives and Records Center. 25X1A National PhotographicInterpretation Center Approved For Release 2001/11/Q r P78-00433A000100070014-0 .
