The following were present at the meeting: er, Using Service STATI NTL STATINTL STATI NTL i I would like to take a "walk through" of the shelving and give everyone an opportunity to see the shelving and STATINTL operate it if they wish. As of right now, all construc- tion has been completed. There are administrative details which have to be taken care of with : I tried to foul up the shelving earlier by pushing buttons, but was unsuccessful, so it seems to be working OK. : You just don't have that touch". STATINTL : I feel we should follow procedure. STATINTL The group then proceeded with a "walk through" of the Moveable Shelving. We would like your instructions regarding rails, safeties, motors, etc. In other words, if you were operating the shelving, what kind of maintenance would you use? In preventive maintenance, it was my understanding that we would have shot stored in each control cabinet in i I do not know of anything that says this is re uired. If any shot is required the first year, will have the shot. Beyond that, it wi a necessa for the Using Service to order the shot when they need it. STATINTL I am going to try to see if I can find in writing that the shot was supposed to have been stored in each control cabinet. a We will furnish anything that is required in the contract. $ is going to have a limited supply of parts an ma e s The parts are in my car now. In regards to the secondary safeties, there is not a problem of them not working; the problem is,that they are a bit too sensitive, and they cause us problems by dropping off when they are not supposed to. During the month of April, the safeties dropped off an average of 4 times per day, and so far we know no explanation for this. I feel the temperature variation in the building may be causing this. : Also, the humidity could have something to do with it. : We would like for your manual to include items which should be checked on the shelving periodically. : I will do that. : Could I expect the owners manual additions at the same time as the "as built" drawings for the entire project? : Accepted the shelving. : Even though there have been a lot of trials and tribula- tions, I feel there has been tremendous cooperation from the Using Service, engineers and contractors. On my behalf, I would like to say "thank you" to all of you. Approved For Release 2001/11/01: CIA3FbP78-00433A000100130001-7
