SUBJFCT: Munitions production at the Skoda Works X -
in Czechoslovakia
The President has expressed an interest in the current
production of munitions by the Skoda Works in Czechoslovakia, in-
eluding the quantity and type of munitions being produced. The
President would also like. to know the percentage of capacity cur-
rently being utilized or capable of being utilized, together with
an indication of any factors which limit production. In particu-
lar, the President questioned what proportion of Skoda's iron re-
quirements comes from Sweden and, in turn, how much Sweden's iron
production depends upon Silesian coal.
It is accordingly requested that you prepare a report
for the President along the lines indicated above.
