SCELOIAL ZOMM To present a preliminary report on military and civilian
petroleum consumption in certain designated areas for specified years.
Note that this is preliminary to a more detailed report which
will be prepared as an ORE estimate.
Because of the shortness of the deadline, only material readily
available is expected in this preliminary report. Material will for-
led on forms provided by Pet Com of Mun Bd; B/Ec will specify regional
hranches the information desired of them.
The Armed Services have been requested to supply avaibl nfo
on military consumption, but ORE should supplethent this whereveiopos Role.
The yea specified in the request are 1941, 1944, 194 for wi.l a-r on-
sumption and 1945-'for civilian consumption in Europe and 194 S` ciilian
consumption in USSR and Satellites.
