Minutes of the Special Meeting held on 16 March 1956 at 1000 hours
in room 137 Barton Hall.
1. The meting was called by the Chairmen to coordinate Agency
coem s s on the draft report prepared by ODD! on progress under cer-
tain paragraphs of NSC-169. Copies of the 0DM draft report together
with a draft of comments thereon prepared by the Secretary had been
circulated before the meeting.

3. There was general agreement on the substance of the ccmms;nts
which should be submitted and the Secretary was requested to prepare
and forward them to Mr. Obermiller, ODM. Any cant on the ODM
recondation concerning section 5(a) (the mission of the RSB/SR)
of NSC-169 must await reply by the General Counsel to the Chairman's
memorandum requesting an opinion on the subject.
4. The random _ to OD 1, dated 21 March, was prepared in
accordance with this discussion. Copies have been circulated to
IO'IAC mmbers .
