IMIenational Connections o Venezuelan Co
General: There is inconsistency in the text regarding the
capitalization of Spanish names. For example, up to page
4 they are lower-ease, and from there on the patronymic
is sometimes capitalized, sometimes not.
Summary: p. 1, line 5: Although the word 'data' is sometimes used
with a singular verb, we believe the plural
would be better here.
p. 1, line 13: Suggest either "whatever the name under
which..." or "under whatever name they
may masquerade".
p. 2, line l: Probably intended to be "It is t
especially..."
p. 2, line 4: Again, preference would be for plural
verb with 'data'.
Text: p. 1, line 14: Humbert-Droz, not Humberto Droz.
p. 2, line 7: 25X1A9a
p. 2, line 21: Omit comma after "complexions"
"Democratico" for "Demucratico".''
p. 3, line 8 from bottom: underline 'ndamentos".~-r
p. 4, line 33:
Source #12, if we remember correctly,
was not very reliable.
p. 7, line 21: For Sivolou read Sivolov. V'
p. 7, line 29: For Juan Pablo SANCHEZ Aguilar, read
Juan Pablo SAINZ Aguilar. (Source is
known to have been mistaken.)
p. 7, line 33: Nicanor ALVAREZ Rodriguez was name on pass-
port used by Nilo Risquet de Jesus VALDEZ y
Saldanas, generally known as Nilo VALDEZ.
It is suggested that the name VALDEZ be used.
