World-wide selective calling system-
Compute and order quantities of SELCAL Base Station Units, Deer--der cha.'ses,
and Vibrasponder units for world-wide non-repetitive selective calling system. De-
sign and order visual-audible alarm units and semi-automatic transmitter keying
devices t,_ ackuovledge receipt of selective call.
Prototypes of alarm and answer-back units were completed. Plan
soonest to write specifications for these units prior to getting bids
for their fabrication. Initially, approximately 100 each alarm and
100 each answer-back units would be needed to satisfy field require-
ments. Future expansion might require fabrication of 25-50 more of
each type unit.
