The revised Standards List for communications equipment was approved by the Acting Deputy Director~Support and was sent to the Office of Logistics. 2. The Fiscal Year 1963 Stock Procurement Program has progressed as follows: o Cate Committed to Date g General Stock $1,240,052.94 4 R&D Services 2 92,422. SPS R&D Services 40,000.00 othex 509,905.00 GRAND TOTAL TO DATE $1,882,380.36 3. Mayor communications equipment ordered for stock during the month included $695,000 worth of teletype equipment, 100 each teletype switchboards, $2 each KW-26 Installation Kits, 100 each AW-1qA Cabinets and 300 each AN~PRC-6 Radio Sets. 4. A -total of 230 each TR-20 VHF Vi11a a Radio Sets were ordered 25X1 A from for Project ~ in Saigon. The order 25X1 A2d2 amounted to 2,0 5. A priority air shi~nent of two complete Tinytots was made to Seattle, Washington. 25X1 C4a 6. The African for sea 5X1 A locations have been released shipment to the area. Unusually large requests for TA-~+3 field telephones and field 25X1A wire were requested by Forty-six miles of field wire and 35 25X1A telephones were ordered for 80 each telephones and 40 miles of field wire were requisitioned for Saigon. 8. 337 line items of spare parts for the - ansmitter have been processed in support of requirements 5X1 A2d2 g. Six each P-33 Motorola Handie-Talkies were processed on a "crash" basis in conjunction with Vice President Johnson's trip to the Middle East. 10. During the latter part of the month, 64S AN~PRC-l0A's were delivered to the warehouse from the manufacturer primarily fox 5X1 A2d2 stocks. A few units checked so far by the Test and Inspection Section indicate that the units are within or exceed specifications. 11. A servic calibration of Hewlett-Packaxd 25X1A5a1 test instruments, was attended by six of the T&I personnel. II.
