The CK-100 is a consolidation of the CO-8, KE/A-8,
and CA/A-3 into one package. The package is designed to
integrate into the RS-100.

7. Project Status:
The CK-100 was finished except for minor adjustments and
its operation was demonstrated. Although the unit performed
the required functions, several changes will have to be made
before it is acceptable for delivery. The most serious
revision that must be accomplished is in the mechanism used
for cartridge insertion and removal. Provision must be made
for an operator to grasp the cartridge and easily extract it
from the cartridge compartment. The locking mechanism which
holds the cartridge in place will also have to be changed.
The push-to-write lever is locked down for storage purposes
and a rather poor latching arrangement is installed for this
function. This feature will be changed prior to delivery of
the unit. One other change will be the use of a locking screw
to secure the operating knob to the character selector wheel.
Several changes effecting operating characteristics were
25X1A9a recommended by Mr. and will be incorporated on the next
model. These changes include space button height and a change
in the nomenclature engraved on the front panel. It is
25X1A5a1 estimated that= will require one week to get the CK-100
in satisfactory working condition.
