DESCRIPTION The objective of this course is to

covert action operations, and thus
prepare them to support these opera-

The course is divided into four subject
areas: Introduction to Covert Action;
Types of Operation; Support and Coordi-
nation of Operations; and Problem Areas
in Covert Operations. Operations
Officers with field experience describe
various types of operation, highlighting
the key operational considerations in-
volved. Officers who have had Head-

of covert action operations discuss what
is required in this area. Representatives
of the various Agency elements that offer
services in support of covert action
operations describe the support capa-
bilities of their facilities. The course
concludes with talks on problem areas in
covert action operations. Ample time is
provided following each group of presen-
tations for questions and discussion.
