ADVANCED INTELLIGENCE SEMINAR
(See pages 17 and 42 in the OTR Catalog)
The ninth running of the Advanced Intelligence Seminar
(AIS) will be held from 10 May through 31 May 1972 o The AIS
is a middle and senior level course designed for experienced
personnel from all Directorates and the Office of the Director.
(It is not to be confused with the new Senior Seminar, nor is
it intended for officers who have taken the Midcar.eer Course
within the last three years . )
The Advanced Intelligence Seminar places major
emphasis upon.
(1) the dynamic aspects of the changing international
and domestic scenes which have an impact upon I7 e S o nationa l
security policy and intelligence;
(2) current and future developments and problems facing
the Agency and the Intelligence Community;
(3) an examination of the intelligence response to
selected substantive problems , and changing needs and
resources
The AIS enables clan s members to dialogue frankly with
guest speakers and fellow students n Each student is expected
to participate actively. To help achieve this objective, the
class is limited to 25 students ,
