INTELLIGENCE REVIEW COURSE

Dates for the Intelligence Review Course, formerly announced
as 9-20 April 1962, have been changed to 16-27 April 1962. This is
a full-time course, and classes will meet in Room 1-A- 13, Headquarters
Building.
The course gives an overview of the status of the intelligence
profession, covers new intelligence developments within CIA, and
presents an opportunity for students from various offices to discuss
particular office problems in intelligence. One session is devoted to
a summary of recent developments within Soviet Russia and in Inter-
national Communism. Senior officers from the various components of
CIA and representatives of the intelligence community discuss current
developments and problems. Panel discussions deal with broad areas
of collection, production, and support. Panels and lectures are followed
by discussion periods. In addition, seminar groups choose topics for
discussion and final papers.
Prerequisites are completion of the Intelligence Orientation
Course and a minimum of five years of duty with the Agency or equivalent
in experience and training. Further information on course content may
be obtained from extension 3343. Training Officers are
requested to forward Form 73's to the Registrar/TR no later than
6 April.
