1. Because a special meeting was called, the minutes of the previous
meeting of the Board were not presented for review and approval.

2. The Board recommended approval of the request for voluntary retirement,
effective 30 April 1968, received from 25X1A9a
3. The Board next considered the case of , a Career 25X1A2e
Agent, who was being nominated for participation in the System with concurrent
involuntary retirement effective on 30 April 1968. - had stated that he 25X1A2e
would not contest involuntary retirement and he had signed an application for
retirement to that effect. The Board concluded that - met the technical 25X1A2e
requirements for participation and for involuntary retirement. The Board unani-
mously recommended that he be designated as a participant in the System and that
his involuntary retirement be approved.
4. The Chairman informed the Board that he had received a copy of a
memorandum from the Acting Deputy Director for Plans, approved by the Director,
25X1A9a which designated Mr. to replace Mr. as a 25X1A9a
member of the CIA Retirement Boar .
5. The meeting adjourned at 2:30 p.m.
