Approved For Release 2009/09/01: CIA-RDP78-03097A000200010046-4 fiAL CHIEF, FBIB 9 January 1948 In a conference which I had with this morning, the following Teletypist, will not be approved for security, and it appears teat regardless of the fact that I made a very strong plea for him on the basis of him being an excellent and dependable employee, it is a hope- less case. I requested that he not be dismissed prior to 1 April 1948 in order to allow me some time to recruit a replacement teletypist, which is already a difficult problem. This was agreed to tentatively and unless I hear further from we must anticipate losing him on or about 1 April 1948. will not be approved for security. I offered no strenuous objections to her dismissal. In all probability we will lose her very shortly. 2. will not be approved for security.
