the difficulty was how to approach the selection of the vital 10 to 15 per
cent of the targets and to disseminate these under the classification of
"Restricted".
2. A broad picture of YBIB operations was sketched by Colonel White
with emphasis an the important isle of the targets in pointing up infora
tian that would normally be overlooked by 7'BIB personnel and items which
could have passible lhture sipntfieance to the reseerehers. While the ad-
vantages of sending targets to the field under a "Restricted" classification
were enumerated. Colonel white pointed oat that YBID could accept and dissem-
inate targets of any claesifiostien.
3. Lieutenant Colanel0 said that the meeting had cleared up mar
points concerning FM operations on which hitherto he had been misinformed.
4. Conclusionst
a. The inter-brace situation report of 22 would be forwarded to
TBII3 for study and possible integration with the Weekly Targets.
b. .W.ak of CIA would be studied by FBIB for possible
inclusion of items in Target List.
o. Closer coordination between PBIB editors and 1 " analysts will
be achieved by periodic meetings to be arranged later.
d. Results will be carefully noted as the new plan of Target dis-
semination to YSIB Yield Bu-sons is placed into operation.
