April 14, 1952
As per our conversation this morning we will finish the
four additional beacons without the XRX unless we can get
material from the P Corp. this week. This can be added
at any time but I do want to complete the job which we
originally started.
In addition to this, I am sending one dozen XRX 30 filters
to fit the flashlights and you can make your own choice as
to which you prefer to use.
I have copies of packing slips signed by you and I am
wondering whether these are sufficient so that I can put
through the billing according to all the formal red tape
necessary; at least so that Can
receive payment for work done. I.think by the end of this
week I will be able to pull together all costs on this
second go-around and any attention which you can give to
getting the second contract so that I will have a number
against which to bill will certainly be appreciated.
To sum up, you are carrying the ball on the following:
1. Payment for the original work - $4000 under
Contract No. XG-743.
2. The contract for the XRX material - $5000 -
has been billed but as yet we have received
?
no payment.
3. The contract for the work on the second group
of beacons has not yet been received by us,
- so Vhile the work has been practically com-
pleted, I have nothing to bill it against.
