Subject: Request for Extension of Time
In conjunction with your Project Engineer we have recently com-
pleted a project review and scheduled estimate of completion.
During April of 1957, the scope of this work was expanded to in-
clude specific additions such as:
1. Automatic aperture controls
2. Purchase of designated lenses
3. Remote power supply with radio control
As a result, additional time will be required for completion of the
prototype system, incorporating these requested features. We have carefully
analyzed the work remaining and will require an additional fifteen weeks time.
It is, therefore, requested that the delivery date for this prototype system be
deferred to September 30, 1957. We trust that you will find this request
acceptable.
