a. P-144A -
Carrier Current System
Fifteen (15)of the Mark III prototypes
were returned to
Radio Receptor for modification. An investigation by
has 50X1
revealed that certain minor circuit changes in both
the transmitter and
receiver greatly improve the system
performance. These modifications
were discussed and it was agreed

list of
modifications made to the units
along with
suggestions
for future modifications and/or improvements. 50X1

(c) Punch boles in receiver case to reduce
operating temperature 200 C. The official
go ahead for this particular modification was
not given by the undersigned since it was
felt that members of APD should discuss this
in light of possible operational installations,
whereby the holes may prove disadvantageous. A
sample case was brought back to APD for dis-
cussion purposes.
(d) Remove from headset circuit. A different
headset jack is being considered and will be
incorporated, if possible.
