1. Fabricate five top plates and cut the five modified discone
antennas as shown on the attached drawing.
2. Reassemble one antenna and make the following far field test
measurements:

a) E and H plane pattern measurements at 50, 75, 100,
150, 190, 250, 350, and 500 me points.
b) Gain measurements relative to a dipole at the points
shown in (a).
Disassemble the antenna measured and pack the five antennas in
shipping boxes. such antenna will require two plrvood boxes
not to exceed external dimensions of 18" x 21 " x 6". Include
all hardware and a set of assembly and disassemble instructions
with each antenna. Number the boxes in pairs, No. 21 through
No. 25. Do not seal the box covers, use metal strapping or
cord for shipping to the contracting organization.

Five GFS antennas cut and boxed.
One reproducible and three copies of Test_1Psta.
One reproducible and five copies of Usably and
Disassembly Instructions (Five copies to be packed
with antennas).

CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Disassemble antenna and cut sections to dimensions shown below.
2. Cut supporting sections of wire mesh to permit bending of mesh for packing.
3. Fabricate straps for reassembly of the antenna.
