1. The Office of Commications has a regairasent for a group of
sub-mature broadband pre-a p1ifiers. W o equipment v ill be utilized
to increase the sensitivity of existing Agency equipment. The frequency
ranges of the transistorized pro-azolifiers will be compatible with that
of the CR-2, CR-12, and CR-32 Collection Receivers.

3. It is requested that Task Order 15 of Contract (RD) XG-1323
be initiated in accordance with the attached proposal. A3Ao attached
is Requisition No. 1m 6O-6A1 indicating that the Allotment to be charged
for this work is 0179*0060-0000. Funds in the to unt of $51,754.00 have
been encumbered for this purpose. The association of the Agency with
the contract and equipment is classified SECRET; however, the equipment
