C2. The subject under discussion was the the proposal submitted by for a program
"research and development for a transistor radio set. This proposal was unsatisfactory
to this Agency in several respects. The purpose of the conference was to
secure a mutually agreeable proposal.

3. It was agreed that the proposal would be modified as suggested by this
Agency. In order to expedite the initiation of the Task it was agreed that a memorandum
would be transmitted to Contracts outlining the changes to be made in the proposal
indicating that preliminary concurrence _was &stained. from and that a letter of 50X1
concurrence would be forthcoming from On this basis Contacts would be requested
to initiate Task II under thd Master Contract, RD-27.

4. It was further agree& that under the terms of the contract, this Agency will
epply either a model of the R8-5 Radio Set or the RS-6 Radio Set along with a copy of
the technical specifications.n
