1. The referenced manorandume seek additional funds for the
execution of the subject contract. Task Order 2 of the contract
requires the development and delivery of ten RP-11 Power Supplies
and ten kti- . hand Crank Generators which constitute the 1-13:/.3
Power S Cyetesc.. The contractor Witted individual equip-
gent Co stinates and a contract subsequently -rded based

2. The contractor seeks an add,itiox em of 4v494,35 to
cc iple?ee the 1 Power Supply which constitutes an overrun of
approximately 10% and is considered fair and reasonable. The
scope of the work has not been increased and consequently the
fixed fee Is not affected. With respect to the P-U Band Crank
Generator portion of the Task Order, the contractor seeks funds
in excess of 100% of his original cost estimate for this work.
We recoi end that the Hand Crank Generator portion of the Task
Order be terminated and a final report rendered.
3. It is requested that the contractor be authorized an in-
crease for the RP-11 Power Supply development as indicated above
and that he be foully advised of non-approval of additional funds
for a continuation of the :-32 mid Crank Generator development.
Funds resulting from the termination of the RHt-11 should be ade-
quate to cover increased costs for the HP -3.1 Power Supply do-
velou-tent portion of the Task Order*
