I should like to express my warm thanks to you for the
excellent series of briefings which you and your staff arranged
last week for the officers of our current Mid-Career Course
on Foreign Affairs. You will be pleased to hear that the reaction
of our group was most enthusiastic. I feel myself that the
awareness awakened in these officers of the role played by Central
Intelligence Agency and its representatives will have a very
beneficial long term effect in terms of our mutual tasks. The
results of these briefings have in fact proven so rewarding
that I should like to request similar opportunities for future
classes of our Mid-Career Course.
