Operation:
I. Insert earece
of two receptac
d/or receiver output plug iflto either
on case labeled C.
2.1 Apply filament power by pressing ON-OFF switch to ON
position.
Press microswitch (keyer) on side of case to obtain
tone in earpiece.
Rotate frequency control d14 to desired frequency.
Calibration chart included with unit must be used
to obtain actual frequency from dial reading.
Battery life of the Eveready 505Es is limited to 5
hours continuous key down operation at which time
drifts 50 cycles upwards.

To compensate for various 4aeltsaates a test point
accessible on side of case permits adjustment of cali-
bration to set plate voltage on tubes at 37 volts. At
37 Volts the frequency as calibrated holds within the
tolerances permissible.
