Transmittal of IS-1 and 111-9 Audi? Oscillators
1. Transmitted herewith are the prototypes of the 11-1
Variable Precleney Oscillator and the 1311-9 rimed Frequeoccor
OsciLlstor. Bough draft copies, of the instruction books are
included for yew information and comments. Please return the
books along with the prototypes when your eValuct-tion has been
completed. If you so wish, you may note your cometente directly
in the instruction book.
2. Our records indicate that based. von the eccttwe
crtbese Wototypes, five units of eech of the above oscillators
will be required. Since these requirements were established at
the time the projects were initiated, it is requested that you
review mod confirm your durrent requirements as to quantit$.
The 111-1 uses a precision potentiamerter =XI gear train which
requires a sturAy case and mounting arrangement. If the require-
ment Is for ten or more units, it will probably be more economical
to east this case. Thu* it mould be advantageous to have this
information prior to starting additional fabrIcstion.
