1. Returned herewith is the RR-33 receiver and instructions
which were forwarded with reference. We regret the delay in return-
ing the unit, but it was inoperative upon receipt and had to be
sent to our base station for inspection. There it was found that
one of the transistors had come out of its socket. The small
plastic case containing the headset was also found broken when the
unit was received at NATCA.
2. The receiver works well, but its limited frequency range
and lack of a BFO, particularly the latter, limit its usefulness in
this area.
3. Many thanks for forwarding the receiver as we were anxious
to see it and, again, our apologies for the delay in returning it
to you.
