SUBJECT: Attached Memorandum Request for Increase in OPC Table of Organization.
1. Management Staff concurs in the request of the Assistant
Director for Policy Coordination for an additional position of
Special Assistant to the Assistant Director to be established as
an IAC position.
2. The three additional positions requested in paragraph lb
of the attached are required to establish a departmental unit to
render support and administration to field medical personnel who
will be assigned by area activity to support operations, including
domestic training areas. The requested increase is concurred in by
the Chief, Medical Staff.
3. The Office of Policy Coordination has informed this Staff
that sufficient funds are presently available to OPC to cover the
increase in positions. In light of this statement the Budget
Officer has given his approval for the increase.
4. Management Staff recommends approval as requested.
