STANDARD FORApperroved For Release 2007/03/02 : C M NO. E7C'/- 4.z y~ f Office Memorandum ? UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT To Deputy Director (Administration) FROM . Advisor for Management SUBJECT: Senior Representatives - Overseas Station. DATE:29 January 1951 1. It is our understanding that the Senior Representatives and their immediate staffs for foreign areas will be organiza- tionally assigned to the tables of organization for the Director as field installations. 2. The Director of Central Intelligence and his Deputy both enunciated this concept; by inference, when they stated that the Senior Representatives would be the representatives of the Director. As a result of conversations withso office and others, it appears tha some question exists their minds as to whether the above did in fact mean that the Senior Representative and his staff should be carried in this mdnner. L, We feel it should be obvious that the Senior Representa- tive for any need will receive whatever administrative support from either the SO or PC field station nearest hhim~t is to the amount feasible and desirable. However, if he is to be in fact a Senior Representative for a given area, he and his staff should not be carried on the T/0 of any one CIA office, 5. If the concept stated in paragraph 1 is as desired, please concur hereon, and I will furnish copies to SO and PC for their information. 25X1 25X1 25X1 bb/p 1 h- Approved For Release 2007/03/02 : CIA-l D1 78-03568AO00100350021-9 .G%
