SUBJECT : Reclassification of Slot,

1. It is requested that slot 44, Intelligence Officer
GS-11, be reclassified as Administre.tive Assistant OS-7.
2. Based on experience during the past two years the
Chief of Station does not feel that a GS-11 is warranted for
the position, and requests that a military replacement be
provided equivalent to that of a, GS-7.
3;. Incumbent now occupying slot 44 Intelligence Officer
will resign from this Agency at the end of her present tour,$.
which is 12 August 1953.
4. An appointment action was submitted 7/8/53 for an
Admin Assistant GS-7 to replace incumbent now occupying slot #4.
