marizes the action taken on the subject Task Order during the period
21 June 1959 to 20 July 1959.
Also enclosed is a copy of the Project Fiscal Report cover-
ing the period through 30 June 1959, and a copy of the current Project
Schedule.

REPORT NO. .
1. This report covers the period 21 June 1959 to 20 July 1959. The
accompanying fiscal report covers the period through 30 June 4959. (Note. ~s
does not include the funds allocated for Phase III for which a verbal go-ahead
was received 16 July 1959.)
2. ;ork on the lightweight conveyor was started immediately after
receipt of go'-ahead.
3. Permission was obtained 20 June 1959 to order material in advsaoe
of engineering approval by the customer if procurement of the material will be
affected by the steel strike, or where long lead times might cause a delay in
the target date of 12 October 1959..
4. It was agreed by to do whatever was STAT
possible to improve tae delivery a e or October 9, without entering a
crash program. The final date is to be determined prior to a visit by the
customer scheduled for the week of 10 August 1959.
AC;:IOll REQUIRED:
1. Prepare the necessary layouts to obtain customer approval of the
engineering during the week o? 10 August 1959.
2. Continue development of the lightweight tapered rollers and
braking system.
