1. On 26 November 1957 the undersi?ned met with 25X1
for the purpose of reviewing 25X1
p ns or work on Phase II of the Portable Hydrogen Generator.
2. The 1~5 scale generator was delivered to~ on 10 November, 25X1
approximately 100 da after the order Was submitted promised delivery,
60 to 90 days). Will begin tests on the 1~5 scale generator the 25X1
first week in December and should have a sufficient number of teats run
(at the rate of about two per week) by the end of the month to determine what
design changes will be necessary in the full scale model. Assuming
ninety day delivery, the full scale tests could be run during April and
May and the final report submitted in June. This schedule would require
a four month extension to the present contract.
3. suggested that a balloon bs used to determine the
amount of generated (and also to examine the water vapor condensation
problem) on all three full scale tests rather than dust on two. In the
event a third full scale testis considered to be unnecessary on the
basis of the first two tests, this third balloon could then serve to
make up a complete generator-balloon pack for training or operational
purposes.
