At the request of the Project Officer, this company
proposes to undertake the modification of fifty portable
radios. This mill require the fabrication of aluminum
After preparation of these parts, they will be
assembled in the radios for shipment. Each unit will
be given a thorough optical and operational check, however,
before ohipment is made.
It is understood that the following parts will be
government furnished for the contract: 50 Radios, 100
Battery Packs, 50 Diolite Batteries and 50 Booster
Adapters (220 volts).
In view of several unknown factors which cannot be
completely determined until this program is under way,
it is suggested that this contract be written on a CPFF
basis to cover a three months' working period. It is
fully expected that tha work can be completed within
45 days, however.
