In accordance with your instructions, the following problems are listed for whatever action you deem appropriate. These problems were emphasized at a 25X1A9a me ti ith e ng w of DD/F Admin. on 23 April. advised that25XlA9a the problems were stated by logistics officers of the area divisions at the weekly DD/P-Admin. logistics officers meeting. a. There appears to be a misunderstanding on the part of SR Division as to our requirements programing procedure. The SR representative stated that LO is unable to effect stockpile programing for the types of materiel that they use. requisition for audio-type equipment, that the requisition included a pair of pliers and a screw driver, and that the requisition was returned for b. The SE Division representative complained that they sent to LO a re-coordination with Como because of the pliers and screw driver. c. Several of the division representatives indicated that in some instances it takes LO about a month to process a requisition from receipt in the Supply Division to arrival in'the Purchase Division for action. d. The DD/P Admin. is most anxious to 25X1A6a from - and/or stateside to 25X1A6 25X1A9a apparently felt that FE had not o owe s matter as much 25X1A9a as they might have. After considerable discussion, agreed that he would work with FE for the answer, and that we should not get into it further at this time. He said that if it cannot be worked out between his office, FE Division, and the field, he would like to have us pick it up as a project for posthaste resolution. 2. Another item was mentioned, which apparently stemmed from a comment by 25X1A several division administrative officers wherein it is recommended that require- ments and funding for be handled entirely separately from all other types of requirements and funding. This is a matter that should proba- bly be discussed by our Chief, C & R, a representative of the Comptroller, and 25X1A9a of DD/P-RAdmin.
