SUBJECT : Office of Security Statistical Report for
MAY 1967
1. The attached tables reflect some of the activities of
certain components of the Office of Security during May 1967.
2. The statistics in the tables are compiled by the
component concerned and refer to the current month.
3. Especially noteworthy for this month is another increase
in the manhours expended for covert operational support-10, 523 for
April as compared to 11, 067 for May, 5, 172 of which is attributed to
custodial support services.
4. It will be noted from Attachment C that the overall processing
time for staff cases is 63 days as compared to 69 days for April. The
average investigative time dropped from 59 days for April to 52 days
for May.
