:SUBJECT : Faculty Critique of JOT Training Program
This paper is presented as a basis for discussion. It represents
the views I have come to after auditing in detail. the entire course
that the JOT's have just completed. During this time I have tested
out my ideas on the students' themselves and on some faculty members.
There has been both agreement and disagreement. I believe that the
nroposal.s have sufficient merit, however, to have them formally con-
sidered and commented upon by each of the schools that participated
in the training prog;:am, and by a representative group of outstanding
students. These com'nents should be of great value in making the
decisions that will have to be made before the next course is organized
for a new group of JOT, s.
