SUBJECT s Operational Coordination
REFERENCE: Memorandum, 8 November 1949, from Executive to
DCI, subject as above, routed to ORE for comment
1. In general, ORE supports action to improve over-all
staff coordination, but feels that many questions raised by
reference memorandum have implications broader in scope than
the question of aliens and the coordination of covert opera-
tions.
2. It is therefore requested that reference memorandum
be made the subject of discussion at a forthcoming meeting
of the Operational Coordination Group when all interested
Offices and Staffs may present their points of view.
