1. - was notified on 12 January 1954 that he may proceed to hire
the two additional maintenance men required for the operation of the enlarged
=activities. He was also advised that T/0 positions would be provided to
cover his present overstrength as well as the two additional positions for
maintenance men. Lastly, he was informed that the A-DD/A would visit M 25X1A6d
next week.

pared to provide two CPC-6 positions on the T/0 to cover two guard 25X1A6b
positions for their new Mr. - also advised 25X1A9a

ments by strengthening the duties of the existing guard force, but is unable
to meet the over-all increased maintenance requirements he needs two main-
tenance positions and not two guard positions. Mr.- was notified of 25X1A9a
this misunderstanding on the part of Commo so that he would not inadvertently
convert two GS positions on the ~r/0 to CPC-6 positions.

3. The A-DD/A will determine how tl}~ four positions shall be actually
provided (from DD/A reserve and/or transfer from -reserve) after his 25X1A6b
visit to M next week.
