If there are others we should announce, let us know.
d. New Procedure - Requests from Other Government Agencies. A.
new Agency procedure is to be published shortly to provide guidance concerning
the acceptance of service requests from other government agencies. When
requests are received, the Deputy Director concerned will decide whether or
not it falls within our normal charter. If it does not, no action will be taken
until the General Counsel has approved the request on behalf of the DCI. If
the Deputy Director decides that it is an appropriate request, he may authorize
the action and simultaneously send a copy to the General Counsel.
e. Changes in Booklet "Retirement Service Program". CCS has suggested
several changes in the booklet, and we understand it is now being reviewed by
the CI Staff. The question is whether it must be classified before being dis-
