OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE SUPPORT OFFICERS MEETING
1. Credit Union Statements. The Credit Union is now in the process of distributing
the quarterly statements, using the financial codes to help in sorting. They have asked that
we bring to your attention the fact that code numbers with the last three digits being 899 or
890 means that the employee is in transit. Consequently, the number does not identify the
station. You might pass this along to your Personnel Officer or whoever is doing the sorting.

2. The next two speakers in the Agency's program are in November
25X1C and Ambassador Ellsworth Bunker in December.
5. The Office of Logistics has a draft dispatch in circulation regarding lead times for the
delivery of American manufactured vehicles. Federal agencies are required to process
vehicle needs through the GSA which in turn, for cost advantage purposes, submits bulk
procurement orders to the manufacturers. Overseas stations should anticipate 9-10 months
lead time for sedans and station wagons. In a justifiable emergency can be
procured in 10-14 days with an increase in cost up to 25 percent. 25X1A

ISG and CI each had 2; ODDO, AF, CCS, _ EUR, and NE each 1. In comparison to the
other directorates, DDO led with 15, DDM&S-10, DDS&T-9 and DDI-6.
