Approved. For Release/ .lDaI U4722A000306 30070-5 OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE SUPPORT OFFICERS' MEETING 30 January 1974 1. Mr. Chief of Operations, OC, discussed the future trends in communications. 2. Item from the DDO Staff Meeting - 30 January. Mr. Colby has asked that the Operating Components again circulate to all employees a request that anyone with any information concerning the Watergate or any other questionable activity, report it either through command channels or directly to him. 3. Parma The General Services Administration has issued Federal Management Circular 74-1, which requires that we develop parking policies to conform to new standards. The largest changes will be: (a) a limit on the number of reserved spaces in the Agency compound, and (b) the assignment of all other spaces on the basis of the number of persons in carpools. The new regulation must be implemented by 1 March. We expect to have definitive guidance for you in the next two weeks. In the meantime, it appears entirely probable that employees who have previously had reserved permits or choice lane permits will have to organize carpools if they expect to keep them. 4. Cover Considerations in the Use of Tunnel Postal Station. We are handing out copies of a memorandum from C/CCS which states that employees under cover may not use the Station for mailing letters. While the memo does not address itself to other mailboxes on the compound, we would assume the same restriction would apply.
