1. Review the Support Directorate information processing
applications and requirements in sufficient depth to permit an
assessment of the resources we will need to satisfy our require-
ments in the long; term and recommend answers to such questions as:
a. How many people will we need?.
b. What kinds of skills should we be seeking and
in what mix?
c. What qualifications and training should we look
for? Should we offer?
d. What is a reasonable pattern of career progression
for people in this field to expect?
e. How would you define the information processing
personnel management problem in the Support Directorate?
f. What have we overlooked that should be considered?
2. Furnish such technical advice and guidance to the SIPS
Task Force as may be requested.
