If there is some particular advantage or compelling reason for
25X1A2D1 transferring
from the Office of Training to the Clandestine
Service on 1 January 1973, it certainly can be accomplished. There are
some administrative and bureaucratic considerations, however, which
suggest that 1 July 1973 would be a more convenient time.
We are Interested in ensuring that support
continues 25X1A2D1
at the same level and quality as in the past. We have no concern about the
ability to do this as long as the, requirements for support do not grow beyond
those which have been the pattern. We believe we can get this insurance in
the most business-like fashion with the most amicable working level relation-
ships if all foreseeable ramifications of the support arrangements are under-
roes and recorded ahead of time for their benefit. Some of
the nuances which should be subject to agreement ahead of time relate to
