Dear Mr. Staats:
Reference is made to memorandum dated 18 November 195. from
Acting Deputy Director for Administration relative to the assign-
ment of cryptonyms to projects approved by the Operations Coordi-
nating Board which involve the release of funds by the Bureau of
the Budget from the CIA Contingency Reserve.
According to my records, many of the approvals received from
the OCB do not contain any reference to cryptonyms previously
suggested in the memorandum of 18 November. However, approvals, on
being received in this Office, have been assigned the next crytonym
in the order listed.
Since all previously approved cryptonyms have now been used, it,
is desired that a new list be accepted for ,use as projects are
approved by the OCB which involve the release of funds from the
Contingency Reserve. The following cryptonyms have been approved
