Dear General Wheeler:
The Central Intelligence Agency is again prepared to offer the
annual two-week Project course to senior Department of Defense
officers. This program is designed to create better understanding
between CIA and the Department of Defense, particularly in the field
of CIA support to the military in wartime.
The program will be offered at CIA Headquarters from 18 through
29 October 1965. We are prepared to handle fifty students in the
course and request that you nominate this number of candidates. An
outline of information to be submitted on each nominee is attached
to this letter. It is requested that this information be transmitted
so as to reach the Director of Training, Central Intelligence Agency,
not later than 28 September 1965.
