Nothing to report.
II. OTHER ACTIVITIES
1. Mrs. section of the Intermediate Writing
Workshop ended on 15 November, with a make-up session for
the class missed on 3 November. This class section showed
an unusual amount of interest in individual consultation
with the instructor throughout the course, and a number of
the students visited the instructor's office outside of class
hours for consultation on particular writing problems.
2. Mr. - gave a lecture on Photographic Intel-
ligence to the Special Security Officer's Orientation Course.
An exhibit of aerial photography and stereo vision was set
up in an adjoining room for the course participants. They
showed considerable interest and asked many questions.
3? Intelligence Production No. 3 commenced on 14 November
with an enrollment of six JYfs.
4. There has been a shortage of classroom space this
week; therefore, classes are being held in the IPF "ballroom"
-- Room 2034 -- and Mr. is conducting his Advanced
Writing Workshop (DDS Spec a, in his office -- Room 2013.
Mr. is holding class every day this week in order to
complete the course this week; the course was scheduled to
meet on Tuesday and Thursday of next week, but the Thanks-
giving holiday would have made it necessary to hold an addi-
tional class meeting. The students agreed it would be more
convenient to attend class every day this week.

gard to e u change Program with the Soviet Union.
It was learned that the United States was able to provide
only 22 students out of a connnitment of 34 for the exchange
program this year. The question was raised as to the lack
of U.S. students in the physical and biological sciences
participating in the program, whereas the Soviet exchange
students are primarily in these fields. Mr. is par- 25X1A9a
ticularly interested in having students selec do re-
search in photogrammetry, optics, film chemistry, and the
like. In addition to these, Mr. - is also interested 25X1A9a
in having students selected to do research in geography, map-
ping, geodesy, and gravimetry.
